Before you alter or modify the exterior of your home in any way, you are
first required to submit an Architectural Control Application to the
Architectural Review Committee.
Committee meets
the 2nd & 4th
Saturday at 9:30am in the clubhouse,
residents are invited to attend.

ARC
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
-
The property owner will submit an
architectural application for exterior change or alteration
directly to the Architectural Review Committee (ARC).
Applications will be accepted via the lock box located in the
River Forest Clubhouse or by mailing them directly to the
clubhouse at 9050 SW Pennsylvania Ave. When the mail is
picked up, these applications will be dropped into the lock
box. Upon receipt, the ARC will note the date of receipt and
enter the request into a master architectural tracking
form.
-
The ARC meets in the River Forest Clubhouse
on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month
at 10:30 am to review applications under consideration (unless
otherwise posted on the web site and/or at the clubhouse).
Minutes of each meeting will be kept, and made available on
the River Forest web site.
-
The
ARC reviews the application, verifying all necessary
information and attachments are included.
-
After
reviewing each application, the ARC will approve or deny the
request, documenting the decision in the appropriate section
of the application and in the master tracking form. The
reason(s) for denial must be included.
-
Within
two (2) business days of the ARC’s decision, the ARC will mail
and/or hand deliver to the property owner of each application,
an approval or denial letter. Denial letters will be
sent via certified mail.
-
The ARC will visually verify within thirty
(30) days of an application being denied that the property
owner did not make a change or alteration that was not
approved. A property owner found to be in violation of the
ARC’s recommendation may be subject to fines and/or legal
action.
